I just found this site and wanted to inform all who knew my grandfather during his tenure at Alden Electronics that George passed away on February 28th - a few months shy of his 84th birthday. I currently work for the NOAA Under Secretary and have sent a message to a few remaining folks who knew him at the National Weather Service.
